GPS Service Provider Secures Proprietary OEM Support For Launching Personal Carry GPS Duress Alerts


Dallas, August 24, 2006, -- RESQSTAR, a three year old company has secured proprietary OEM assistance for marketing their Personal Carry GPS Duress Alert systems. These personal security units provide value added services and extend the popular telematics systems already marketed to vehicle owner consumers. Now for the first time, protected clients are able to take real time monitored GPS security with them when they leave their car. "In a mobile dangerous world, RESQSTAR has the ideal compliment to vehicle based only GPS telematics" said Michael D. Park, the retired Federal Marshal and founding CEO for RESQSTAR. In three years, RESQSTAR has taken personal security concepts from wish lists to new product offerings that can be configured to serve multiple special interests markets while saving lives and protecting the community.

A state of the art NOC center and UL approved central station monitors the new units nationwide and coordinates with appropriate law enforcement and first responders in an emergency. Once activated, the system will automatically notify the RESQSTAR call center staff who will verify your emergency and pin-point your location before dispatching local assistance. Additional covert features are available for the law enforcement and judicial security models.
