Justice System Early Release GPS Monitor
Every month in the United States thousands of criminal offenders are released from custody and returned to the community. This would include parolees, probationers, early release convicts, differed adjudication participants and even pre-trial bail/bond and personal recognizance. Smart jurisdictions are beginning to use tamper-proof satellite tracking (GPS) devices (JusticeTRAK) from RESQSTAR to monitor their charges. The JusticeTRAK unit allows individual treatment providers, conditions of release supervisors and law enforcement to monitor case individuals from any PC by using a confidential pass code system. The data available includes current up to the minute location reporting and a chronological time table and history of recent past events. JusticeTRAK includes special features like geo-mapping which can be programmed to send an alert if the subject leaves his/her restricted boundaries or is loitering in off-limits areas.
